EFL students’ perception on the use of Grammarly and teacher feedback

چکیده

Many studies on the Automated writing evaluation (AWE) Program predominantly focused outcomes of students and comparison between AWE programs. However, investigating students' perception combining an program teacher feedback are still insufficient. This study examined use Grammarly their writing. It also sought to know whether English proficiency level influences perception. The participants included 26 undergraduate Faculty Law who were taking for Specific Purpose (ESP) Writing course when data collected. responses questionnaire TOEFL scores. result analysis showed that perceived positively. Furthermore, was not influenced by level. Students high low levels gave positive feedback. HIGHLIGHTS: Combining two kinds (AWE teacher) providers will produce is truly helpful both students. role cannot be neglected as it can complement demerits program. teachers should consider appropriate approach using with certain because from different need a approach.
